Helpful things
What comes in the box?
Your Kit arrives flat-packed in one box with everything you need to assemble and paper instructions to help you build your new locker (wall fixings are not included), plus a handy wall template.
Assembly notes
Your Kit comes with a wall template. Position the template on the wall, checking it with a spirit level. Drill through the template to ensure the position of your holes is correct, then remove the template before hanging your Kit.
As a guide, when fixing the Kit to the wall use screws with a head less than 8mm wide and a thread less than 4.5mm so they fit neatly into the keyhole slots. If unsure, consult a tradesperson.
The keys should be attached with a cable tie on the top corner of the door that has the lock on it. They are tucked inside to keep them safe.
Important note: The holes are intentionally smaller than the hex screws because we use self-tapping screws. These screws create a larger, threaded hole as you tighten them, locking the parts together securely. If the holes were bigger, the screws wouldn't hold properly.
To get started:
- Use the long end of the Hex key first, and push firmly while turning.
- Once the screw 'bites' and becomes harder to turn, switch to the short end of the Hex key for more leverage.
Tip: It's okay if the screws go in at an angle at first, they will straighten out once fully tightened.
